A diesel generator of 4000kva connecter on auto to its idle bus normally, but after auto connection of 1st load of 410 kW its output current & voltages became zero and afterword the power of EDG could not be restored, it was disconnected.
after some time EDG was started manually and loaded gradually to full load but no abnormality was found, the simulated auto start / loading test was perform, in this test EDG loaded with following abnormalities.
1. excitation voltage & Current abnormal fluctuations,
2. EDG terminal voltage abnormal fluctuations,
these fluctuation observed in the start few second and afterword the parameters became normal.
any one can help that what should I check not to face the problem in future in case of EDG actual requirements.
