Hi everyone,
The company I work for is in the process of building a 2-pole generator.
We are at the core building stage;
There are 12 Lamination stacks to make the circle of the core, attached to 6 keybars via dovetails. Hence each lamination has 6 slots for the keybars.
Upon stacking the laminations, the opposite end (slots) of the not attached to the keybar without dove tails are not stacking accurately. They are forming a pattern but zig-zaged not parallel/straight which it should be. And this pattern start from the very beginning of stack right to the top. A few slots are straight but the rest of them are not.
Hope I've given enough information on the problem. Any suggestions/help/questions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pam
