Trying to put a general pad on a cylindrical surface. It sometimes attaches to the opposite side of the cylinder. How can I get the pad to attach to the side I want it to. I have tried every toggle, relocated the defining cuves, even changed up the WCS. None of this seems to achive what I want.... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try a datum plane tangent to the side where you want the pad.
