Hi all. I'm trying to find out how to model the inertia of a large gearmotor. Inertias are given for the motor, but I can't find any mention of the inertia of the actual gearbox. I've looked at SEW and Nord catalogs with no luck. I assume this will have a large enough effect that it will be important. My load inertia is just slightly less than the motor inertia, so that makes me think that any gearbox inertia will have a notable effect. Thoughts?

Thanks,

John
