GE Fanuc PLC guy applying for a fancy packaging machine PLC job

I have long experience using PLCs for controlling power systems and building automation. Virtually no "MOTION" or CNC stuff.
How complex is a conveyor/packacing extruder program. I understand axis and rpm and offset and the basics. Will a conveyor be reasonably easy to understand? I have seen some fancy G&M CNC programs for milling stuff and it is decipherable but very complex. Am I doomed?
