i have a ge drum control for a 150 hp motor i have replaced the risistor bank can't find fingers or strike plate for drum can anyone help

Have you considered replacing the drum with a rotary switch and some contactors? It has many advantages. Maintenance, availability, cost, easy placement, flexibility...

You should be able to get your machine shop to make the contacts. I would stick with the drum contactor. Keeping the drum contactor may end up costing more but the nostalgia would make up for it.

Nostalgia is a grrreat thing - priceless ;-)

Complete Reading or what ever their new name is use to carry such items.

OK, stupid question: Have you gone back to GE for such an item or do they just want to sell you the entire switch?

In a hundred years, it isn't going to matter anyway.

There are several companies that still make and sell parts for drum controllers. Torresdale, Inc. and MaCabe Electrical Conductors are both in Pennsylvania. Hubbell Industrial Controls also makes complete drum controllers for retrofit applications
