Gasket for bigger size - dovetail joint

Hi,

Is it okay to buy Dovetail joint gaskets for bigger sizes like 3000mm diameter?
Will there be any issues in-terms of leakage at the joints?

Pleas suggest with your experiences.


Material: Rubber (EPDM)

Based on the information - yes. Or no. I'd suggest a discussion with a stress/structural engineer to determine if the joint will have enough support to provide a sufficient load to get the contact pressure you expect to resist.
