Where can I find simple thumbrules on column design for binary gas/liquid operations? I'm trying to verify proper operations of a gas scrubber (packed column) for a solvent recovery system. Thanks!

The most pratical information I have found so far is coming from the handbook "Control Technologies for Hazardous air pollutants" published in 1991 by the EPA. It is possible to download it from their website.
