I am trying to collate BIG Lessons Learnt by the forum members as regards the operation of a gas processing plant during its first year of operation. The collated information would be useful in addressing what kind of name plate percentage we can obtain during the first year.. Example of BIG Lessons Learnt could be... Feed gas composition different from assumed...Response from a forum member could be that "We lost 5% production due to feed gas was different from assumed". It may not be that every site will ahve the same problem.... But, the idea is to tap in to the collective knowledge of the members...in a single thread... Assume Feed gas contains just CO2 and hydrocarbons (No H2S). So, units would be Reception, AGRU, Dehydration, Mercury removal, LPG recovery and compression of treated gas to pipeline pressure... No specifics are needed... just a list of what can go wrong...during the first year...

there is a forum for gas plants called GPA section A Design that has links to thousands of such documents available.
