Is there somewhere on internet one good TABLE showing Gas Groups for different Gases and Vapours.

I am Electrical Engineer presently working on Hazardous Area Classification as a part of the project where I am working also.
Electrical Engineer - P.Eng. is person to define Hazardous Area - NOT Chemical.
TABLE showing less / more flammable gases and vapours is very important for that kind of work. Flammable gases and vapours are caovered by API,NEC and other Standards, but some gases are not there .

I think you missed the point pristava. the chem engr. can tell you were to find the info you want. Any P.E. can declare an area Haz. Explosive. Just because it is in a power plant, doesn't make an EE God. If in the US OSHA and NIOSH have something to sday also.

Back to the original question -- both Appleton and Crouse-Hinds publish "Code Digests" which cover Articles 500-505 of the NEC and include tables of gasses listing the associated group, ignition temperature, etc., for each gas. I believe both companies publish their digests on line -- let me know if you have any trouble finding them. They hand out paper copies pretty freely too.

Gases and vapors are subdivided into groups on the basis of :

1. Ignition Temperature.
2. presence(always, sometimes, etc) of these gases / vapors in atmosphere.

There are two classifications, one is Class/Div/Group
and other probably european in class/zones.
