Hello All:
Would like to know what deflection figures you use when altering a frame structure (in this case a garage) that will have a new load due to an above doorway new architectural feature (eyebrow, semicircular arched wall). Was thinking of L/360. I am investigating existing header [2]2x10's. Also, the eyebrow will also impose new load due to the curvature of that portion of the roof and snow drift.
