I have a pneumatic motor design with Titanium and 6061-t6 Al in contact. I'm concerned with galvanic corrosion of the aluminum. Al and Ti have a .6V difference in Anodic Index. (.25V is recomended for "normal" environments, .5V for controlled environments)The tolerances on the Aluminum are such that I can't anodize and be assured of holding the tolerances. Will Alodine protect the aluminum? The parts will be in contact with air mixed with hydraulic oil. Will corrosion still be a concern? Can you recommend an information source?

Thanks

You need water for this type of corrosion. *IF* the oil has very low moisture, you'll be OK.
