Hello,

Im tryna find this Tc to compare with my Ta calculated by formula. Im using ASCE 7-10-2016 on seismic design. Where do i get this Tc in STAAD.Pro?

I'm not sure what this "Tc" is either. Can you give a specific formula number from ASCE 7?

Speaking of that....are you using ASCE 7-10 or 7-16? I'm not aware of any code called "ASCE 7-10-2016".

I'm not sure about Tc either. Where in the code do they use that term?

In older versions of the code, there used to be a TB which was the period calculated by "method B" or a rational analysis. In a program like STAAD, this TB would be the fundamental period with the most mass participation in the direction of interest.
