Hi,

I'm looking for a function in Catia V5 that is simular to the "Spinal bend" function in Pro/ENGINEER.

What I want to do is to deform for an example a corrugated sheet metal detail after a predefined curve that describes the detail as it looks mounted.

Catia can sometimes be disapointing after using the most powerful CAD software Pro/E. You might want to try modeling the first feature as the spinalbend shape and then flatten it to create your cuts in Catia's sheetmetal as you can do in Sheetmetal on Pro.

I too wish spinal bends were available because they are really cool and useful features

Michael, thanks for you answer!

It dissapointing that this kind of function is not yet available in Catia V5.
I'll try to use your methodology.
Thanks again!
