Fully Stiffened Pontoon????

How can you determine if a Floating Roof Pontoon is fully stiffened or partially stiffened? What are the variables?

What section of what specificaton are you looking at?

If the pontoon has enough stiffeners to prevent local buckling of the thin plates, then it is considered fully stiffened. It is partially stiffened otherwise.
