Hi All
reading about application of full spectrum in rotary machine diagnostics, I have difficulty in understanding how a shaft rotating in one single direction and bi-directional vibration, that constitutes its full spectrum diaghram, can have a two contrasting rotations, forward and reverse with the same velocity and amplitude , that further can be filtered into 1X and 2X orbits that each consists one of those rotations ?
