FS Pipe Hanger Rod

I've been told that NFPA requires hanger rod be threaded down to the pipe in a swivel ring hanger. Anyone know where in the NFPA this requirement is listed?

Appreciate the reply Travis; I had already went through Chapter 9 a couple times, but didn't see the requirement. Thought I'd confirm on here.
