The usual way to select a diameter for a process line with a given flow is by starting with a given optimum economical velocity, and selecting the diameter with :
D = Square root ( Flow*4/Pi*Vec ).
Common carbon steel economical velocities are between 1,5 m/s and 2,5 m/s.But FRP is more expensive than c.s.,so its design velocity should be higher.
I agree that is required a lot of information to get the result.I was only trying to get the information in a direct way to avoid a long calculation.
