To model pipeline on seabed in ABAQUS/CAE, I use contact between Pipeline and Rigid Body (seabed). To model lateral / axial friction as function of lateral / axial displacement, based on preliminary investigation I note that ABAQUS has option for friction based on Slip Rate. While I look for the option of friction based on ONLY Slip. Can somebody kindly help if such option is possible in ABAQUS/CAE.
