friction factor of steel rubbing against steel 2

Friends,
I need help. I'm trying to calcualte
the amount of force required to overcome
the hinge friction on a
36" wide x 84" high x 1-3/4" thick steel door
weighing 141 lbs. I have calculated
the torque created by air pressure differential
and have worked out the door closer effects.
What I really need is a friction factor
of steel rubbing against steel
at the hinge.
This question is in relation to
ADA act of 1990
The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 section 4.13.11 reads as follows:
(b) interior hinged doors: 5 lbf (22.2N) 22.2 newtons .
 
Dry and unlubricated steel surfaces about 0.75 to 0.80. Good Luck.
 
Friction factor varies greatly depending on the condition of the steel surfaces. A dry lubricant such as teflon or graphite impregnated steel plates will help. Reinforced teflon can get down to as low as .08 to .1 sliding on a polished stainless plate.
Badly rusted and pitted surfaces rubing on each other can get up to .8 to 1
