I'm looking for Freundlich isotherm data for granular activated carbon for volatile organics, especially the lighter liquid hydrocarbons(e.g., n-hexane) that one might find in refinery amine solutions prior to regeneration. Can someone please recommend one or more sources of data? I have some information in hand (from a US Army report, for example) for what may be called environmentally important substances (e.g., benzene) but the list doesn't include species as I've mentioned above. Thanks.

Whoever sells you your activated carbon should have an extensive database of isotherms. You'd be better to use data from the manufacturer you are considering using.

Regards
Sean
