hello,
I am doing a freq-voltage conversion. But need to design a feedback element in the design loop(f/v converter)to control the frequency. Do anyone have suggestion?. Is there any realisation software to check a digital output(after converting 0-10v to required digital signal through DAC).

Thanks
Senthil

Hi Senthil,

You need to explain your problem in greater detail. It appears that you're using an FVC and an ADC to drive a digital meter (no micro-P involved), and that you wish to incorporate feedback in order to control the frequency you're measuring. Is this correct?

hello Ve7brz,
Thanks for the reply. yes I need to control the frequency that I'm measuring. The freq is the output from the sensor interface connnected to a AC motor. What element must be incorporated in the feedback loop of thr F/V converter so that I can control the frequency.

Thanks
Senthil

Sorry Setnhil, but I'm still not clear on this. If the frequency you're measuring is being sensed at a motor controller, is it not logical to vary the speed of the motor? I'm assuming here that you're using a VFD. If this is the case then controlling the motor RPM is quite simple.
