Hi,
modeling reinforced concrete subjected to blast with CDP
I use strain rate for the Dynamic Increase Factor (DIF)

there is a way or a reason to add fracture energy as well?

Thanks!

Check the documentation chapter "Concrete damaged plasticity" and other chapters referenced there (related to specific keywords). They explain which data is necessary to define material behavior for CDP model. In case of tension stiffening you can use fracture energy instead of strain or displacement but you have to choose one type of definition.
