I am fairly new to abaqus.
I am modelling using an axisymmetric model to simulate a rod with an outward pressure on a centred hole.
I have used point loads to simulate a pressure.
I have used Fourier elements (*element, type=CAXA42) to change the load from positive to negative through an angle of 90 deg.
Can anyone explain why the pressure on the face applied is 5x the pressure that is obtained using normal(CAX4R) elements?

Thanks for your time, would hugely appreciate the answer!

Steven.
