I am new to STAAD.foundation and am just learning the ins and outs of the program. I am working on an analysis of an existing combined footing for extra loading. When the design fails, I cannot get the calculation results to show up. The calculation sheet says "Calculation sheet is not available as design has failed"

Since this is an existing footing I cannot resize it until it works. Is there any way to see the results even in a failure state? This would give me an idea of how overstressed my foundation and soil is.

Thanks for the help.

It's probably a stability type of failure, i.e. the footing comes up or turns over under the applied loading. Try checking it only for max downward loads, or add some balancing surcharge to confirm.
