Do you want to know what research areas there are for underwater foundation design or do you want to know more about underwater foundation design?
To find out more about underwater foundation design check out a book on foundations at the library. Three references that come to mind which discuss the subject are written by the following authors: Braja das, Joseph Bowles, and Peck, Hansen and Thournbun. Another which comes to mind is a book by Robert Ratay entitled Temporary Structures in Construction. This book details the procedures for building cofferdams and working in the water. Alternatives to cofferdams are caissons. [sig][/sig]
