Forming and possible Delamination on the INSIDE??

this is 11 ga pickled and oiled sheet

anyone ever see this happen or know what might cause it??

yes I use to Inspect sheets and Plates for delamination from the mill. it was common, pull the raw stock and have it visual inspected.

A quick thickness test using a ultrasonic thickness mic using a dual element transducer can detect laminations in many thickness ranges, but probably not the best choice for materials least than 1/8-inch thick.
