I'm currently trying to format my hard drive and I was wonder if someone could tell me how to. Its been awhile since i've done anything like this! thanxs

Hi,

1. Make sure you back up the data because once formatted theres no going back
2. Make a bootable floppy & make sure the FDISK and FORMAT commands are copied on it from C;\Windows\command3. Boot up from your floppy and if required run FDISK to partition your hard drive.
4. After FDISK then type Format C: /u/s
(This does an uncondtional format can copies the system files)
5. Then load your OS.

Now although these instruction will get you through they do assume you lnow a thing or two.
If you can't make head nor tail of them then look at the following links for info

Any help ?, yes no let me know.

Regards
