Hi there all. I am currently working on a Ford Mondeo GLX 1998 with a central locking fault the drivers door catch and lock has been changed. Now the drivers door just keeps unlocking when you try to lock it, and non of the other doors lock, any help with ideas on this would be appreciated thanks:))

First question that comes to mind is if you even got the correct part; I've had a lot of trouble recently with Ford counter persons selling me left for right, front for rear, etc.

Second question is whether you installed it correctly, e.g. bellcrank on the correct side, etc.

Beyond that, maybe your friendly local Jaguar dealer can help.
