I am looking for a forcemain design software that is user friendly and not too expensive. Basically I need to model interconnected forcemains with multiple pumps. It is not similar to a water distribution network analysis since the flow only moves in one direction and there are no looped networks per se.

Thanks in advance

Even though your system is not looped it IS similar to a water distribution system, hydraulically. You could use EPANET (free) or WaterCad (expensive but good).

Good luck

I'm doing the same thing, modeling a forcemain with several pump connections. I'm currently setting it up using Pipe2000 (newest version of KYPIPE).

I am going to try to model the end, where it connects to a gravity line, as a tank below my pipe elevation. I'm hoping it will see this as filling it up.

Just started the input last week, so I don't know if it will work yet.
