Is there a standard or typical formula to use to calculate forces on switchgear bus based on available fault current.

If you mean the Available Short Circuit Current as determined by the transformer impedance, the actual offset current and the resulting forces on the bus bars may be much higher.
You should be calculating the Asymmetric fault current and using that value in your calculations.
