I've been looking for some time for a decent, portable, weld data scanner. I've rented different equipment and I've talked to even more persons using such equipment, however everybody has a very different opinion on the materials they use.

My requirements are simpel: being able to measure and record instantaneous current and voltage (upto 2 kHz), with a voltage probe that measures accurately in the region of 10 - 30 V but can handle the hi-voltage, hi frequency spikes of a GTAW power source, and that is able to give me the average (RMS) value over a selected area (= timeframe).
I already have the equipment to measure wire speed, travel speed, gas flow, temperature, ... so I'd prefer something simple, portable but with the option to analyse the data later (and cancel out up/downslope, manual 2nd current settings, ...).

I appreciate your input, as always!
