Hi,

I need to define a return period for the probable maximum flood (PMF). From the hidrology i have the return period vs volume from 5 to 10.000 years. I also have the PMF volume. What would you recommend? Fitting a curve with log or other type? Is there any literature that talks discusses PMF probables return period? (20.000 or 200.000 years).

Thanks
