I need to use Sodium Hydroxide as PH adjuster for portable water but i have to use food grade one please give me some manufacturer and please let me know how i know this food grade or not? which certificate they should have?
It is usually not required to use food grade sodium hydroxide for potable water applications. After all, sodium hydroxide is just a basic commodity chemical.
However, if you want potable water grade chemicals (Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals), you can spend a little more and get NSF60 approved grade for potable water.
See the link. You may also contact the manufacturers directly.
Dear bimr,
