Folded Dimensions

Hello all,
Using NX7.5

Hopefully I'm just overlooking the tool and this is an easy question to answer. I have a part that I created a broken view of so that it will fit on the page a little better. I would like to capture the overall length of the part in this view, but I'd like for there to be a fold in the dimension much like you would get using the Folded Radius Dimension tool. Does such a "Folded Linear Dimension" tool/setting exist in 7.5?

I don't believe that's supported by any standard, at least not the one's I'm familiar with. If it's a broken view that alone will indicate that while the part may be fore-shortened, the overall dimension represents the true length.

I completely agree with you. However, I'm in a situation where "That's what the legacy drawing looks like," is the governing principle rather than generally accepted standards or common sense. As a lowely co-op, I don't have much weight to argue. Hopefully, he'll accept the fact that the drafting tool our company has been using for quite some time doesn't even give us this option as evidence that this isn't common practice in the company or elsewhere. Otherwise I guess I'll just be doing this with lines and notes.
