At our plant we used previously Fluorprotein Foam concentrate (CRODA) and we gonnag change it over with AFFF. How do you think if it's a problem for the foam/water solution makers (the same concentration of foam concentrate & water - 3%)

thanks,
Joisy

Dealing with proportioning, most 3% equipment will work similar or better with AFFF but you better look on the respective manuals or catalogues of each equipment and nozzles for a confirmation. Corrosion is another concern, brass would do fine with both but you better check with other materials. Some people would prefer particular characteristics of FP for specific risks but most brands of AFFF warrants a good behavior in general.
