I know I have been able to do it on some machines. It has been a long time though. I'd put both tables out in the shuttle area and then do a tape shot. This is just to see if the beam will come out and or what alarms you get.
Next step is to do a "hole and square" with the trace off and both tables still out. This is just to see what happens.
