Searching for an FM (vhf/uhf either is fine)transmitter schematic that will occilate a signal at 121.5 MHz at 10 mw. My background is mechanical but i'm willing to try and build this item if I can get hold of a plan.
Be careful, 121.5 MHZ is smack dab in the middle of the
AIRCRAFT band! FCC and FAA regulations apply, regardless of input power levels. Creating interference to aircraft is a serious offense. Any reason for that particular frequency choice?
I agree with mMac. 121.5MHz is the emergency locater beacon (EPIRB) frequency for aircraft and marine. The FAA, FCC, and Coast Guard will be all over you in a heartbeat since they moniter this freq. ALL the time.
