Hi

I am using Nastran 70 to evaluate a Fluid Structure interaction, which means that I am using a card 111.

There is one parameter, ACMODL, that determines the interface between the fluid and the structure.

The nodes are absolutely coincidents, so I could use both DIFF or IDENT in the parameter ACMODL. But, the results are different for the structural points. Which should I use, DIFF or IDENT.

Thanks a lot.

Joe,

I suggest that you post your question on this forum, which is dedicated to Nastran:

Anyway, if you have some clear and simple examples of fluid-structure interaction problems solved with Nastran, I would be delighted to receive some !

Good luck.
