Flowrate in open channels 1

Does anyoen knows how to calculate the flowrate of water flowing from a faucet to a flat plate ??
 
The hard way: a degree in hydraulics.

The easy way: By faucet I will assume it to be something you could stick a 5 gallon bucket under and time it to fill.
