ha do any one know how to calculate flow thru vent calculations for flood areas for buildings?

I believe FEMA requires 1 square inch of vent area per 1 square foot of enclosed floor area.

So if you had a house with 2400 sf you would need 2400 sq. inches of vent space or 16.667 sq. feet.

This would require about 4 - 2' x 2' vents.
