What is a good flow measurement technology being used successfully in different refineries. The application is hot oil (400 C), 0.83 sp. gravity, 1.2 cp viscosity at 500 psig in 6" line at heater inlet. Normal flowrate is 10KBPD, max. is 20 KBPD. There is 1-2% solids in the stream. No purge oil is available so dp is out of question. We currently use Yokogawa vortex but people have very little confidence in them. Your feedback will be appreciated.

we used dp's, no purge oil required, used diaphram sealed lines.
