Floor shadow option greyed out

So I've rendered plenty of models with floor reflections before but sometimes it will only display a portion of the floor and now all of a sudden it it not rendering the floor at all. When I go to Edit scene the Floor Reflections box is greyed out and I have no idea why. Any able to give me some pointers?
