Hi everybody,

I am designing a ringwall foundation for a 30' dia tank on an AE coastal zone in California and I need to include flood load in my foundation design. What would be the right reference to use? ASCE 7-05, Caltrans BDS, or ASCE 24? any comment would be appreciated. The flood load elevation is 20 ft and the ground el 17 ft.

Thanks

definitely not Caltrans. you may want to post this on the Structural engineering other technical topics forum
