I know we cannot make weldments flexible, but why not...ok so I'm making two box section panels with welded corners, and they are joined via piano hinge which is plug welded to frames, now I want to drop this weldment into my GA but cannot make flexible and therefore cannot open or shut these panels, its beyond me why Autodesk don't see this as an issue.

Obviously weldment and "flexible" seem like oxymorons which I'm sure is the reason Inventor doesn't support it and I find that Autodesk doesn't think outside the box very well.
Its been requested many times but just not enough to justify them adding it.

Of course the simple answer is to just call out the plug weld in the drawing BUT don't use a weldment... Just keep it a regular assembly and move on.. Not seeing the "pretty weld" graphic isn't going to kill anyone and a notation in the print is sufficient IMO.
