hi

I'm trying to make a flexible steel rope for a crane. i want to make the rope go over a winch and pulleys and onto the hook and i want to move the hook as the winch is wound and unwound (something similar to the belt and chain drives available in solidworks). so it is a kind of chain drive but the ends of chain do not meet or do not make a closed loop.

if it is possible, which version of solidworks do i need.
