I need some flexible pipe couplings. The ones at the link below would be perfect if 1)they came in smaller sizes and were 2)sourced in the USA. The couplings need to fit National Pipe OD's.

Any ideas welcome.

They have two or three different couplings on that link, looks like.

Tried your local Home Depot or Lowes? Tried McMaster-Carr?

JStephen,

Yws; no joy. You'd think this was and easy one. I'd even use a piece of "Tygon Tubing" and two hose clamps if I could find the tubing with the right ID.

sreid,

The Flexseal items appear similar to Metraflex 201 units.

Manufacturers of rubber construction expansion joints would also include Holz Rubber, Mercer, Proco Products, Unaflex.

There is the useful Chemical/Rubber Guide from the Fluid Sealing Assoc (FSA) for selection of elastomer chemical resistance tables. The guide is included in their catalogs.

Regular members of FSA include Holz, Metraflex, Proco, and Unaflex, among others.

What size pipes are you trying to clamp onto?

Sorry, I should have stated pipe sizes.

1/2 in. NP OD=0.840 In.

1 in. NP OD=1.315 in.

1 1/2 in. D=1.900 in.

The 1/2 inch is the problem. I have not had time to check the suggested sources yet.
