Flattening a rolled part - incorrect flat dimension?

So I have a part that for all intensive purposes is just a 4.875" tube rolled from 0.063 5052 Aluminum. When I flatten this in solid edge (its drawn as a contour flange with a 0.001 break in it), the flat measures 15.049. The flat *should* measure 15.117. 4.875-0.063 (neutral axis) * 3.14159

The neutral factor has no effect on the flat dimension. Anyone know how I can correct this without modifying the .dxf to make the numbers correct?

Hi,

go to contour flange options
general tab
uncheck bend relief
uncheck corner relief
set the neutral factor to 0.5

This should then give you the correct flat pattern

The neutral factor does have an effect on this. In the material table you should set de neutral factor of the bend equation to 0.5 and you will get a flat pattern of 15.117".
