I am working on fatigue analysis in Ansys using variable amplitude (from load history file) tool. For some reason, I have obtained flat fatigue sensitivity curves (within 50% and 150% load variation, sensitivity for available life). I was wondering if anyone knows what might be the underlying cause. Is it because I am in a 'flat' (when plotted with linear axes) region of S-N curve?
