Hello,

I would like to ask if somebody know some good resources or studies on the minimum bending radius of the cables particulary the flat cables.

I have seen some radius vs. isolation thickness and core type tables ( probably empiric ), but I would like read something more detailed. The name of the standards related to this issue would be also very appreciated by me.

Thank you in advance for any hint and tip.

Gabriel.

For usual cable the minimum radius is tested as per UL 83 ch. 5.10 Cold bend and cold impact.
The Manufacturer in his catalog display the minimum bending radius as for instance:
Minimum bend radius 0.020 inches (FFC) for: LVDS Compatible Display Cables see:

Thank you for the information.
